Reprocess of Lagoon Data

After staring at the old image for several weeks I decided this data deserved another process. Now probably not to everyones taste but I like this. It looks more like what I was expecting from this object.

Looks better to me, the 'black border' effect is largely gone.

I like the colours on the reprocess better than the original, the original seemed a little too pink, this one being dialed down has bought out bore blues, and browns of the surrounding gaseous areas. I think there is a hint of more detail also, but not much more, the original had heaps to begin with...
Nice one Paul.

Okay, for the perfectionist (and there isn't any) there is some small things. But because there is far more good/excellent than otherwise, I will just say I am envious, well done Paul. I like the way the Lagoon stands out from the background nebula and I have not noticed this before in other Lagoon images.
That would be good enough for me to hang on the wall.

Thanks all.
Not content to let this thing just stare at me. I have once again done yet another reprocess. This time I think it looks heaps better. Either that or I am slowly going mad. Perhaps some would say that has already taken place.

I hope you all like it. I am done with this thing for now.

Wow, there is a lot of difference between those 2 images; just a pity I cannot see it at all. So long as you are happy with it Paul.

Thanks Lester, this image has just about done my head in, when I blended the data together it comes out violent pink to begin with. It takes quite a few masks to get this and adding data on top of other data and blend that in. If you asked me how I did this I could not even begin to tell you. I just don't remember how I have done it.

Another reprocess. It looks more like a nebula now. No more reprocesses now. If I could do one thing it would be to remove the aquamarine rings around the blue stars. Other than that this is looks ok to me.
