Scorp sagit wide under 1/2 moon

the moon was out tonight but it has been first clear night here in a while
this is just 3 frames stacked, each 1 min jpeg taken with 17mm lens with oly e-p1 set at f3.2

Maybe some curves work just to hide that moonlight would be good. Detail looks pretty good, any chance of a larger image?

Nice one Daniel. Larger would be better, or are there some artifacts you are concealing with the small size?

Well in that case would love to see a larger image, the FOV really shows the Milky Way well with one shot.

Dan, try doing a medium contrast curves on the image. It will liven it up a little.

thanks paul - i also re-adjusted the midtone highlight & contrast - has bought down the moon rays darkened background but kept the MW ok

Yeah I like this better. Maybe just work the blue out a little and then you have one for the pool room mate. I really like the MW colour in the latest version.
