Well here is a simple 30 second exposure taken from Paringa on Saturday night witht the Canon 17-40mm lens at 17mm. ISO 3200. No processing other than slight curves adjustment. No mount with me, so just a tripod shot for fun. Still not bad and shows what can be done with a simple set up.

Nice one Virgs, although I clicked on the image and couldn't get it any larger; small and nice.

I must admit that I am surprised about what a single 30 second exposure can produce... of course it does not match longer guided subs but when you are wiothout you can still play!!
