HAving recently taken delivery of a set of Fujinon 16x70 recently last night was the first night I have had the opportunity to use them.
They are stunning - the stars are pinpoints & i did not have trouble with my glasses on. I made this sketch of ngc2516 in Miaplacidus - the two orange stars were terrific, the core region must have had a good 50 stars.
After this i moved down to check out carina & came across ngc 3532 - it is the best cluster I have ever seen. It was a large egg shaped cluster which was full of hundreds of individual stars - i was blown away by the view..

All the best with the new binos Daniel, Fujinon I think are as good as it gets.

The little streak near the bottom bright star has me intrigued; is it a edge on galaxy?
